Thirteen of our ex-students, who all now have studios passed the Licentiate qualification with the MPA on their first attempt.
The judges were hugely flattering about the overall standard of work.

Bernie Ramsay (who runs a studio in Cardiff) produced a panel that passed with flying colours and no discussion amongst the judges. The CEO of the MPA was so impressed that he wants to run a feature on Bernie in the magazine!

Bernie started a Barrett and Coe Portrait course in October 2011 (having never done photography before), and a wedding course in January 2012 which he finished in May 2012. He achieved a Grade 1 on both courses.
He became a franchisee in January 2012 and opened a studio in April 2012. He is already averaging £207 for baby portraits and last week had sales of £1,380.
