The Studio Bulletin is BACK! Here is the latest Studio Bulletin featuring Elaine Sheppard’s visit…
Last weekend our new Wedding Course 2 and Portrait Course 2 began in Ware. It is always exciting and interesting to meet so many new people wanting to earn money from photography, and helping them to achieve their objectives.
During the first two sessions on Friday and Saturday the Portrait Course students attain a level which enables them to start to earn some money immediately. Wedding students have a good grasp of fundamentals which would enable them to tackle two thirds of a wedding. During the next three weeks they will complete various homework tasks sending in their images by email for critique. This is the only way to progress at photography: take some images…get a critique…take some more. It is not an academic subject, so you can’t learn it out of a book!
Students made the following comments after the first two days:
“Course far exceeded expectations. I arrived as someone with a very good understanding of the technology(camera’s etc.) but knew so little about performing a professional shoot.” Gerard Dawson.
“After just two days the course has imparted a great deal of knowledge. The method is simple (relatively) and is obviously tried and tested. The pace of the course is fast and the practical sessions invaluable. Thank you for all the expert tips.” Mike Haberfield.
“Informative, challenging and exciting – can’tbelieve that in only two days I have been able to generate excellent portrait images.” Bernie Ramsay.
“Excellent! Even better than the wedding course – would definitely recommend both to others. I enjoyed it so much I have bought a franchise and can’t wait to open my studio.” Kevin Timmons.
