More than ten students from courses that finished earlier this year or late last year are now averaging over £1000 per week from Portrait Photography. These past students had no previous experience in photography. It is amazing how quickly it is possible to reach this target and more. Especially when some ‘established’ photographers cannot achieve this.

But it is necessary to have everything right. The marketing, the systems and much, much more. Not just take great pictures. Buying evermore gear and software will not help.

Recently, on a photography forum an established photographer complained about the number of ‘no shows’ he is getting. One of the ways to address this problem is to call the customer a few days before the booking. He was doing this but in such a way that he was putting the customer off!

There is so much knowledge required to be a financially successful portrait photographer. It is only too easy to lose a lot of money in a short space of time without the right guidance. Having found the right support make sure to follow the advice.

This depth of knowledge cannot be gained in one, two or four day courses. There is simply too much to assimilate. Intermittent days of tuition over a four to six month period are necessary.
